CCSE iLabs at $99: Cloud Security on All Three Platforms

EC-Council lists CCSE iLabs at $199. We sell the same official labs for $99.

Six months. Half price.

What makes CCSE different from every other cloud certification

Cloud security certifications tend to come in two flavours, and both are incomplete.

Vendor-specific ones teach you one provider's console. Useful until your company acquires a business that runs on a different cloud, which is roughly every company now.

Vendor-neutral ones teach you principles you can't actually apply, because principles don't have a configuration screen.

CCSE is the first certification to blend both. Vendor-neutral frameworks and principles, then hands-on work across AWS, Azure and GCP specifically. That's the combination that matches how real environments look — because almost nobody is single-cloud any more, whether they planned it that way or not.

It's also the only cloud security certification offering more than 50 labs in simulated real-world scenarios.

What you'll practise

The labs run across the CCSE curriculum:

Introduction to cloud security — architecture, fundamentals, the shared responsibility model that most breaches trace back to misunderstanding.

Cloud platform and infrastructure security — configuring services securely across all three providers.

Application security in cloud.

Data security in cloud — storage techniques, storage threats, encryption at rest and in transit.

Security operations in cloud — including collecting threat data using SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response), and automating incident response.

Cloud penetration testing — testing your own environment before someone else does.

Incident response in cloud — designing and implementing response plans, creating incident analysis reports.

Forensic investigation in cloud — which is a genuinely different discipline from on-prem forensics, because you often don't control the underlying hardware and the evidence may be gone by the time you ask for it.

Business continuity and disaster recovery in cloud.

Governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) in cloud — designing and implementing governance frameworks and regulations including ISO/IEC 27017, HIPAA and PCI DSS, plus tools for regulation and audit across AWS, Azure and GCP.

Standards, policies, and legal issues in cloud.

What's included

  • Official EC-Council iLabs, 6 months from activation
  • Step-by-step hands-on guide for every lab
  • Browser-based — nothing to install, works from anywhere

Why labs matter for cloud specifically

Cloud security failures are almost never exotic. They're a storage bucket left open, an IAM role scoped too broadly, a security group that allowed 0.0.0.0/0 because someone was debugging at 6pm on a Friday and forgot.

You don't learn to spot those by reading about least privilege. You learn by configuring it wrong in a lab, seeing what it exposes, and fixing it — somewhere that doesn't cost anything when it breaks.

There's also a practical reason to use a lab rather than your own account: doing this on live AWS means a real bill, and cloud security experiments have a way of generating memorable ones.

Who this is for

  • Network security engineers and cloud administrators
  • Cybersecurity analysts working in cloud environments
  • Cloud engineers who own security but were never trained for it
  • Anyone preparing for the CCSE exam
  • Teams needing multi-cloud competence rather than one-provider depth

Common questions

Is this the genuine EC-Council platform? Yes. Same iLabs EC-Council sells directly, at half the price.

How long is access? Six months from activation.

Do I need my own AWS/Azure/GCP account? No. The lab environment is provided.

Does this include the exam? No. Lab access only.
